Carl J. Mummenthey

Carl Mummenthey currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for Niskayuna Central School District since July 2022, following a successful tenure in the same role at Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District from September 2014 to June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Superintendent at Jefferson Central School District and as a school principal at Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School. Carl Mummenthey also held the position of Planning and Instructional Specialist at Otsego Northern Catskills BOCES and worked as an English Teacher at Unatego Central School. Educational credentials include ongoing studies in The Negotiations and Leadership Program at Harvard Law School, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership from the University of New England, an MST in English from the University of New Hampshire, and a BS in English Education from SUNY Oneonta.
