Diego Zurita has nearly 30 years of experience in the footwear industry. Diego began their career in 1990 as an Area Manager at Gatic SA, where they were responsible for over 400 employees and up to 25,000 pairs of shoes per day. In 2003, they became the Production Manager at Calzado Rohcal, where they implemented streamlined operational efficiencies to successfully drive revenue and reduce costs. In 2007, they moved to Nike de México as a Manufacturing Team Leader, where they headed the manufacturing and footwear engineering of the Nike L4L project and designed and created a raw materials supply chain. In 2014, they joined Nike Inc. as a Footwear Engineer, acting as a spokesperson for the Athletes Innovation team and responsible for assembling and all manufacturing steps for every product made for an Athlete. Diego then moved to an Engineer Manager role in 2015 before becoming a Product Engineer in 2016, where they spearheaded and oversaw footwear engineering of women’s athletic footwear in Sports Wear, the biggest Nike category, in the Women's division. In 2022, they became the Quality and Packaging Director at Nisolo.

Diego Zurita received their education from the University of Buenos Aires from 1986 to 1989, studying Business. Diego also obtained a certification from LinkedIn in May 2020 for Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences.
