Subir Banerjee

Subir Banerjee has over 25 years of experience in the corporate sector. Subir began their career in 1993 as an Executive Internal Audit at Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd. In 1995, they moved to PepsiCo India as an Assistant Manager of Finance. Subir then joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1997 as Head of Franchise Operations, where they achieved record sales volumes and received the President's Award for Best Unit for North Eastern States in India in 2000. In 2004, they transitioned to Reliance Communications as Deputy General Manager. Subir then joined Vodafone Essar Cellular Ltd in 2008 as Deputy General Manager of Service Delivery, where they led a team of 80 employees and 400 subsidiary employees and achieved a reduction in post-paid high value churn from 4% to 1.1%. In 2010, they moved to Videocon Telecommunications Ltd as General Manager of Customer Service Delivery. Subir then joined Globacom in 2012 as National Head Acquisition of Branded Retail in Nigeria, where they increased the customer account base to 20 MM to 31 MM across 36 regions within 24 months and amplified sales turnover by 10 times (USD 60 Million) in SME Segment in last 12 Months. In 2016, they joined NAVER Corp as Head Partnership Consultant of Camp Mobile. Subir is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Nisos Technologies, where they are responsible for launching and scaling up two new LOBs, heading India operations with P&L Management, Sales & Marketing, HR, and Legal.

Subir Banerjee began their educational journey in 1973, attending The Scottish Church Collegiate School and completing their Higher Secondary in 1985. Subir then attended the University of Calcutta, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Finance in 1989. In the same year, they also pursued Management Accounting, Finance, Costing, and Law at the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earning an ICWAI. Subir also completed the Final Exam Group -II at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, focusing on Finance and Financial Management Services in 1993. Subir Banerjee is currently enrolled in the Digital Business Leadership program at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, with a focus on Digital Leadership and an expected graduation date of 2022.
