Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in leadership and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as a Board Member for Safe Security and Nisos, Michael has extensive experience as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Meta Financial Technologies and has held significant positions at organizations such as Lacuna Technologies, Proofpoint, and Capital One. Notably, Michael's past roles include strategic executive positions at the National Grid, U.S. Department of Energy, Executive Office of the President, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where contributions included cybersecurity management, organizational transformation, and intelligence coordination. Michael holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
