Mike Brehm

Mike Brehm serves as the Assistant General Counsel at NiSource since January 2016 and is a 2024 LCLD Fellow. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Counsel at Squire Patton Boggs, where representation focused on real estate transactions and tax credit projects, and Associate Attorney at Rinke Noonan Law Firm, providing counsel on commercial real estate and various corporate matters. Brehm began their career as a Law Clerk at Eckland & Blando LLP, engaging in government contracting law, before serving as a Legal Writing Instructor at the University of Minnesota Law School. Academic credentials include a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, along with education from Tilburg University and a B.S. in Business Management and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
