Brian Brockman

VP, Communications, U.S. & Canada at Nissan

Brian Brockman is currently the VP of Communications for U.S. and Canada at Nissan. Brian has held this position since June 2019. Prior to this, they were the Director of Nissan Division U.S. Communications, leading a team responsible for communications around Nissan’s U.S. new vehicle launches, product lifecycle, vehicle safety, dealers, divisional marketing and regional operations, as well as oversight of Nissan’s activations at U.S. auto shows.

Before their time in this role, Brockman was the Director of Group Communications for Nissan Motor Corporation in North America. In this role, they led teams responsible for all Nissan Group communications activities in North America, including corporate, manufacturing, labor and policy communications; advanced technology communications, including Autonomous Drive; multicultural communications; corporate social responsibility communications; and crisis communications.

Brockman has also served as the Director of Internal Communications and Senior Manager of Corporate Communications for Nissan North America, Inc.

Brian Brockman has a BA in Communication Arts - Public Relations from Xavier University. Brian also has certification from LinkedIn in Unconscious Bias.

They are on a team with David M. Johnson - SVP, Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management, Nissan North America, Chandra Vasser - VP & Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, Nissan Americas, and Jose Roman - President & Managing Director, Nissan Mexico. Brian Brockman reports to Jérémie Papin, Vice Chairperson, Nissan North America.
