Jan Brecht

Jan Brecht is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in the automotive and sportswear industries. Currently serving as the Global Chief Information Officer at Nissan Motor Corporation since 2024, Brecht previously held the CIO position at Mercedes-Benz AG from November 2015 to May 2024. Prior to this, leadership roles included CIO and Head of Global Supply Chain at adidas group and CIO Americas at Daimler. Brecht's career at Daimler began in 1997, focusing on IT for the Mercedes production plants outside Germany. Educational credentials include a Diplom in Electrical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, completed in 1997.
