Thomas Cunningham is an experienced sales and management professional with a background in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Director of Alternate Channel at Nissin Foods since February 2018, Thomas leads broker and retail teams while managing accounts across multiple business sectors, including Corrections and Military. Prior to Nissin Foods, Thomas held various roles including Sales Manager at Advantage Solutions, where management of over $300 million in annual sales was achieved, and Vice President of Sales at Music Mountain Bottled Water Company. Thomas's extensive career spans over three decades with notable positions at Nestle Waters, Pepsi Cola Bottling Group, and Colgate Palmolive. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Sam Houston State University.

In 1958, our founder, Momofuku Ando created the world’s first instant noodles. On a trip to the U.S. in 1966, Mr. Ando noticed Americans curiously eating forkfuls of noodles out of cups, instead of using bowls and chopsticks. With that simple observation, the worldwide Cup Noodles® phenomenon was born. Shortly after, in 1970, Nissin officially put down its roots in the U.S. In 1972, our Gardena, CA, plant started production of Top Ramen®—the first instant ramen manufactured and sold in the U.S. And ever since, Nissin Foods USA has been creating jobs, launching careers and sharing the joy of noodles with the world.
