Mikko Aalto

Mikko Aalto is a Senior Support Engineer at Nitor since August 2023, bringing extensive experience from previous roles. At the Finnish Meteorological Institute from May 2020 to August 2023, Mikko served as Development Manager, focusing on data management and the maintenance of an automatic production system. Prior positions include Analyst at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts from October 2019 to May 2020, where Mikko developed a containerized solution for the SAPP optional programme. Mikko's long tenure at the Finnish Meteorological Institute spanned from January 2001 to October 2019, where responsibilities included leading the 24/7 calldesk team, participating as a Project Specialist in international ventures, and performing analytical tasks. Mikko holds a B.Sc. in Telecommunications from Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia, earned between 1999 and 2003.
