Perttu Salonen

Perttu Salonen is an experienced data professional currently serving as a Data Architect at Nitor since September 2021, specializing in big data warehousing, databases, ETL, DevOps, and batch data processing using Python, SQL, and PySpark within Databricks. Previously, as a Data Engineer at Solita from June 2018 to September 2021, Perttu worked on data warehousing, real-time data stream processing, and AI/Machine Learning algorithm development utilizing various programming languages including SQL, Scala, Python, and R. Perttu's earlier roles include Senior Test System Design Engineer and Test Design Engineer at Murata Electronics Oy, where responsibilities involved architecting and developing automated test systems for MEMS technology, and a range of positions at VTI Technologies Oy and VTI Consumer Electronics Oy focusing on the development and maintenance of MEMS Sensor Test Systems. Perttu holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aalto University, along with Erasmus studies at Technische Universität Graz in ICT and German language.
