Nicholas Wiersma

Nicholas Wiersma is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in designing and maintaining high-performance systems. Currently engaged at Nitrado since September 2021, Nicholas previously worked at Traefik Labs and msales.com, where significant contributions included developing a global network capable of handling a billion requests daily and creating a stream processing framework in Go. Earlier roles include senior software developer positions at DigitLab, where a real-time social media analytics system was created, and Cosoft, where Nicholas developed an online ordering system with Point of Sale integration. Nicholas began a career in software development at generic.de software technologies AG, focusing on server farm management systems. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
