GianMaria Maiocco has a diverse professional background in both music and sports. Since July 1995, GianMaria has been involved as a DeeJay and Producer for RICH MORE, achieving recognition as a finalist in notable DJ competitions including Tomorrowland and Miller Soundclash. GianMaria's work has been featured in various prominent publications such as Billboard and MixMag. Additionally, since December 2006, GianMaria has worked as a Snowboard Teacher at Scuola Nazionale Sci Sestriere, offering tailored snowboarding lessons for all ages and skill levels in the ViaLattea Ski Resort. GianMaria also serves as a promoter for Nitro Snowboards and holds roles as Social Media Manager for both ConSestriere / TurismoViaLattea and Scuola Nazionale Sci & Snowboard Sestriere. Educationally, GianMaria has a background in linguistics from Liceo Linguistico.

In 1990, Nitro Snowboards was founded by Thomas Delago and Sepp Ardelt in Seattle, Washington. Over the last 25 years Nitro has helped grow the sport of snowboarding through its groundbreaking product development, marketing, movies, grass roots events, and global team of world class snowboarders. Today Nitro has grown its product to offer all the essentials needed for having a good time snowboarding and traveling.
