Lonnie Russell

Lonnie Russell currently serves as the VP of Engineering and Product at Nivel Parts and Manufacturing, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Lonnie was the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering & Program Management at Wahoo Fitness, overseeing an 18-person engineering team and managing product development through the ODM model. Experience also includes leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz USA, where responsibilities encompassed EV product management and project management for corporate headquarters relocation, as well as significant contributions to vehicle launch strategies. Earlier career experience includes a management position at Stihl, focusing on tooling and injection mold maintenance. Lonnie holds an MBA from William & Mary and advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University.
