Matthew Elliott

Matthew Elliott has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Matthew co-founded Nivo in 2017, where they focus on digitizing financial services to simplify deals and provide a guaranteed return on investment. Prior to that, Matthew worked at Barclays from 2015 to 2018, where they held the positions of Head of Rise Manchester and Global Open Innovation Lead. In these roles, they developed relationships with entrepreneurs, led technology-focused open innovation initiatives, and drove commercial performance for the bank. Before joining Barclays, Matthew worked at a Tier 1 financial services company from 2002 to 2015, where they served as a Change Professional, leading IT and business strategy, transformation, and leadership efforts.

Matthew Elliott completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies at The University of Salford from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Advanced Computer Science MSC modules at The University of Manchester from 2003 to 2004.
