Stefan Scherpenborg

Stefan Scherpenborg currently serves as the Global Head of Nivoda Capital since March 2024, where responsibilities include developing embedded trade credit solutions and building a global capital vertical within Nivoda's platform. Prior to this role, Stefan held positions at EY from December 2020 to February 2024, including Senior Manager in Strategy & Transactions, focusing on capital-raising and restructuring services, successfully completing over 20 transactions. At ABN AMRO Bank from September 2014 to December 2020, Stefan progressed through roles such as Assistant Vice President in Structured Finance focusing on complex transactions in the APAC region. Stefan also co-founded the Financial Services Committee at ADB-DutchCham and has management experience from internships at NH Hotel Group and Marriott International. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in International Business Marketing-Finance from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel and Hospitality Management from Hotel Management School Maastricht.
