Bryce Chen is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in data analytics and machine learning. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at NIWA since August 2022, Bryce leads the architecture design and development of the NIWA Data Platform and has developed a climate sensor anomaly detection system deployed in Azure cloud. Previously, at TSMC from January 2021 to July 2022, Bryce managed a team of data scientists, collaborating on machine learning projects and liaising with suppliers for edge computing technologies. Bryce's tenure at Micron Technology from May 2016 to December 2020 included roles as Principal Engineer and Data Science Principal Engineer, focusing on data analytics transformations and failure mode auto-classification projects. Additional experience includes developing predictive maintenance solutions and leading technical projects at Micron Semiconductor Asia Pte Ltd and a research role at the Institute for Infocomm Research. Bryce holds a Master's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
