James Vallee

James Vallee serves as the Boston Office Managing Partner at Nixon Peabody LLP, a role held since 2012, and is also the leader of the Government Relations, Regulatory & Public Policy Practice Group. Prior to this, James Vallee had a distinguished military career, retiring as a Brigadier General from the Massachusetts Army National Guard in November 2019, and served as a legislator in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1994 to 2012, where notable positions included Majority Leader and Chairman of the Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New England Law | Boston and a Bachelor's degree in American History from Providence College. Additionally, James Vallee completed advanced military education at the United States Army Command and General Staff College, the United States Army Infantry Officer Advanced Course, and the US Army JAG School.
