Rich McCarthy

Rich McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rich started their career at NCR as a Manager of Finance & Operations before moving to Fidelity Investments as a Director of Finance & Operations. After that, they joined Digitas North America as an SVP of Finance, where they took on various responsibilities such as financial planning, analysis, and SEC reporting. Following this, McCarthy served as the CFO at Ropes & Gray LLP, where they were responsible for the firm's financial management, including accounting and risk management. Rich then worked at Racepoint Global / Digital Influence Group as CFO, focusing on social media strategies for clients. Currently, they are the CFO at Nixon Peabody LLP. In addition to their professional roles, McCarthy also serves as a Board Member for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

Rich McCarthy holds an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, which they earned from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, graduating from 1987 to 1992. Additionally, Rich McCarthy is a Certified Public Accountant, certified in Massachusetts.
