Mark Varney

Mark Varney has a diverse work experience in sales, marketing, and operations management. Mark has held leadership positions in two companies. From 2005 to 2014, they served as the VP Coatings at American Durafilm, where they managed profit and loss, sales, marketing, and business development for two business units. From 2014 onwards, they joined Kinsley Power Systems, where they held multiple roles including Operations Manager, Director of After Market Sales, Director After Market Sales & Rentals, and VP Sales and Marketing. In these roles, they were responsible for developing strategic goals, executing sales strategies, and managing revenue growth. Mark achieved significant increases in sales revenue, gross margin, and net operating income. In 2023, they joined Nixon Power Services as the Director of Industrial Sales.

Mark Varney has pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Springfield College. Mark also completed a Certificate Program in Construction Management from Northeastern University. Additionally, Mark participated in a Certificate Program in Executive Education from Yale University, focusing on Executive Leadership. Furthermore, they attended the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management to further their studies in the field of Executive Leadership. In terms of additional certifications, Mark acquired a Sales Skills certification titled "12 Common Mistakes to Avoid in Your Next Persuasive Presentation" from LinkedIn in September 2023.
