Dal Shoker

Dalvinder Shoker serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Niyaa People since March 2008, where responsibilities include leading the development and execution of the company's strategy and managing operations. As a Founder and Director, Dalvinder emphasizes a tailored approach to recruitment, ensuring alignment with the unique needs of clients and candidates. In September 2017, Dalvinder co-founded The Recruitment Canaries, a network aimed at supporting SME recruitment directors through collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Additionally, Dalvinder contributed as a Board Trustee for Starting Point Recruitment from January 2018 to January 2020. A prior career at Hays spanned from 2001 to 2008, where experiences included progressive roles from Industrial Year Out Placement to Section Manager. Dalvinder holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management from Brunel University London and completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in 2018.
