Rudy Simons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and technical roles within the food and nutrition sectors. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at NIZO since August 2022, Rudy previously held the position of Key Account Manager Infant Nutrition at Bunge Loders Croklaan from June 2019 to August 2022. Rudy's career includes roles such as Business Development Manager at Advanced Lipids and Technical Specialist & Head of Sales & Business Development for East Asia at Frutarom Natural Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed activities in Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand. With a background that includes product management and applied R&D at Frutarom and technical support at Acatris Health, Rudy has also conducted significant research, earning a PhD in Food Chemistry from Wageningen University. Educational credentials further include a Masterโs in Biology from Leiden University and studies in Korean Language and Culture at the Korean School of Amsterdam.
