Maryam Honarbakhsh

Maryam Honarbakhsh, Ph.D., is a skilled bioconjugation scientist currently employed at NJ Bio, Inc. since March 2023. Prior professional experience includes serving as a Scientist-II and Plasmid Supervisor, as well as a Senior Technical Manager at GenScript from August 2020 to March 2023. Maryam also worked at Rutgers University–New Brunswick as a Teaching Assistant from September 2015 to May 2020, and held the position of Research Associate at UMDNJ from 2012 to September 2013. Additional roles include serving as a Researcher and Graduate Student at Rutgers University from 2008 to 2011, and as a Research Technician at Columbia University from August 2007 to February 2008. Maryam earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 2020 and a Master's degree in the same field in 2011.
