Patricia McAndrew

Director, Loss Control & Risk Management at NJ Pure

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Ms. McAndrew has over 30 years of experience in the field of medicine. Ms. McAndrew’s prior clinical roles include working in the ICU, trauma, emergency department, burn unit, as an acting head nurse, initiating and overseeing an HIV case management program, and managing patients throughout the tri-state area that were diagnosed with advanced pulmonary hypertension requiring potent cardio-protective complex IV therapy. This broad experience in a variety of medical settings gives Ms. McAndrew unique insight, which she uses to assist physicians in minimizing their potential exposure to medical malpractice claims, allowing the physicians to focus on caring for their patients. Ms. McAndrew acts as a resource to those insured by NJ PURE, ensuring that their physicians and their office staff are up-to-date with the latest risk management tools, minimizing the risk to their physicians.
