Edward Chapel

Edward Chapel has over 20 years of experience in information technology and leadership roles in the education sector. Edward served as the Senior Vice President at NJEDge.Net since 2014, where they were responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the network service platform for New Jersey's colleges and universities. Prior to this, Chapel was the Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at Montclair State University from 2000 to 2014, overseeing various technology initiatives and managing a team of IT professionals. Edward also held the role of Associate Vice President and CIO at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 1997 to 2000, where they were responsible for the university's computing agenda and research efforts.

Edward Chapel earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at New York University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology, specializing in this field.
