Laura Romeo

Laura Romeo, Ph.D., is an experienced instructional designer currently working at Edge since October 2023. Previously, Laura held the position of Senior Curriculum Developer at Imagine Learning from October 2022 to June 2023. Laura's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Teacher Education and Learning Sciences from North Carolina State University, where Laura also served as an adjunct instructor and university liaison. Additional experience includes roles as a Learning Solutions Designer at North Carolina State University, Instructional Designer at Walk West, and Curriculum Resource Teacher at Charter Schools USA. Laura began their career in education as a 5th Grade Teacher and a 4th Grade Teacher in North Carolina school districts, further complemented by a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from East Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Wake Forest University.
