Colleen Madlala

Colleen Madlala serves as the Youth Development and Reintegration Affairs Coordinator at Nkangala District Municipality since January 2023, focusing on researching socio-economic challenges faced by youth and developing initiatives across various sectors including Health & Wellness, Sports, Arts, Culture, and Education. Prior experience includes a General Administration and Human Resources Internship, providing administrative support and serving as Executive Secretary to the Municipal Manager. Colleen has also contributed as an Alumni, Volunteer, and Personal Support Person for Youth For Understanding, facilitated a Public Administration module at North-West University, worked as a Research Assistant for a democracy project at the University of Cape Town, and completed an internship with Raiffeisen Switzerland. Academic qualifications include an ongoing Master of Arts in International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from North-West University, a Bachelor of Honours in Social Sciences from the University of Cape Town, and undergraduate degrees in Public Governance and Social Sciences from North-West University.
