Sasha L.

Sasha L. has extensive experience in research and development within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as the Director of R&D Platform & Antibody Development at Nkarta Therapeutics, Inc. since December 2015. In this role, Sasha has been instrumental in building and leading teams focused on solid tumor target discovery and CAR binder generation, employing structural biology and B cell antibody discovery strategies. Prior experience includes positions such as Associate Director of R&D at Nkarta Therapeutics, Scientific Manager at Cellerant Therapeutics, and Scientist roles at Stem CentRx and OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, wherein Sasha contributed to the development and characterization of therapeutic antibodies targeting cancer. With a solid foundation in NK biology and therapeutic antibody development, Sasha has played a key role in establishing company infrastructures and advancing innovative therapeutic technologies across multiple organizations since beginning a career at Schering Plough Biopharma/DNAX. Sasha earned a BA in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
