André Bergman is currently a Professor of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam, a position held since 2024. They have previously served as a Clinical Fellow at various institutions including Meander Medisch Centrum and Amsterdam UMC from 1999 to 2005. André completed a PhD at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they studied from 1992 to 2002, and also contributed as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2007. Their earlier experiences include a clinical internship at St John’s Mission Hospital in 1998 and a visiting scientist role at the University Health Network in 2012.
