Basil Garabet

Basil Garabet has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Basil is currently a Board Member at DQC Danish Quantum Community and EPIC - EUROPEAN PHOTONICS INDUSTRY CONSORTIUM. In 2017, they became a Board Member at Bifrost Communications ApS. Prior to that, they served as the President & CEO of NKT Photonics starting in 2015. Before founding Garabet Consulting in 2013, they were the Founder CEO of EM4 from 2001 to 2013. Basil also had corporate roles at Altitun, Melles Griot, Pirelli, and Lasertron in their earlier career.

Basil Garabet received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Portsmouth Polytechnic in 1982. Basil then pursued a Master of Science degree in Lasers from the University of Essex from 1982 to 1983.
