Lars Norin

Lars Norin is an accomplished professional in the field of materials science and fiber optics, currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Advanced Materials at NKT Photonics since February 2018. Lars holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Mid Sweden University, focusing on materials research related to fiber optics since January 2011. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist at Acreo AB from November 2001 to January 2018, where Lars managed R&D projects in materials science and fiber optics. Lars initiated a project for GaN epitaxy at Uppsala University as a researcher from 2000 to 2001, and previously worked as a research engineer at Ericsson, developing MOVPE processes for InP-based laser diodes from August 1998 to December 1999. Lars earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Uppsala University, completing the degree between 1988 and 1998.
