Babak Kianian

Babak Kianian serves as the Sustainability Manager for High Voltage Solutions at NKT, where leadership of the Sustainability Excellence department involves guiding a global team of specialists towards enhancing renewable energy solutions. Previous roles include being a Board Member for both the Swedish Life Cycle Center and the Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association, and serving as an LCA Specialist at Höganäs AB, focusing on environmental footprint assessment and sustainability reporting. Kianian has also contributed as Chairperson for the Swedish Production Academy's PADOK network and worked as a Visiting Research Fellow at RMIT University. Holding a PhD in Production and Materials Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, educational background includes advanced studies in mechanical engineering and sustainability assessment across various reputable institutions.
