Karunakar Nooney

Karunakar Nooney is an experienced professional in the engineering and project management sectors, currently serving as the Installation Proposal Manager at NKT since February 2022, overseeing installation aspects of power cable tenders from initiation to contract award. Previously, Karunakar Nooney worked at Boskalis in various roles, including Tender/Project Engineer, Proposal Engineer, and Cost Engineer, contributing to projects related to floating wind turbines, FPSO, FSRU transport, and installation. Earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Cost Engineer at a consultancy, where responsibilities involved cost engineering database development and remote support for consulting queries, as well as a brief internship at Vermilion Energy focusing on production engineering techniques. Karunakar Nooney’s career began at ONGC as an Assistant Executive Engineer, followed by obtaining a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering & Geosciences from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University.
