Kendra Lester

Kendra Lester is an accomplished professional in the field of data and information services, currently serving as Senior Director at NL Health Services since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles at the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information, where Kendra held multiple positions including Director of Analytics and Data Access, Manager of Data & Information Requests, and Epidemiologist from May 2018 to December 2023. Additionally, Kendra worked as an Epidemiologist at Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (WorkplaceNL) from May 2017 to May 2018, and as a Data Analyst at Memorial University of Newfoundland from September 2014 to May 2017, focusing on quality of care projects. Kendra also has experience as a Research Assistant I and as Labrador Project Coordinator with Women In Science and Engineering Newfoundland and Labrador. Kendra holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Epidemiology and a Master of Science (Medicine) in Clinical Epidemiology from Memorial University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics.
