Matt Aspinall has extensive experience in the media access industry, currently serving as Head of Commercial Services at NLA media access since November 2008, overseeing key account management for over 300 publishers and spearheading initiatives to enhance licensing and database services. Previous roles at NLA include Head of Publisher Partnerships and Publisher Relations Manager, where Matt focused on building and managing relationships with various content providers while launching a copyright infringement service, 'Text Tracker.' Additionally, Matt has experience as a Production Analyst with Secret Shopper and an internship with ShortList Media Ltd, alongside a background in tennis coaching as a PTR Instructor. Matt holds a BA (Hons) in Publishing with English from Loughborough University.

NLA media access, previously the Newspaper Licensing Agency was established by the UK national newspapers in 1996 to manage newspaper copyright collection. The NLA works on behalf of the UK's newspapers and licenses organisations to make paper and digital copies of newspaper content. The NLA currently licenses over 150,000 businesses and organisations ranging from large government bodies, plcs, and limited companies to partnerships and public relations agencies.
