Ernesto Vega

Ernesto Vega, ASQ CQE, is an accomplished Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at nLIGHT, specializing in supplier development for next-generation high-power lasers since December 2017. Previous experience includes serving as Principal Supplier Quality Engineer at Oracle, managing quality and development programs for Oracle server components, and an Operations Program Manager role at NetApp, overseeing subcontractor operations. At Intel, a lengthy tenure involved various roles, such as leading quality initiatives and managing supplier quality processes. Earlier experience as an Electronics Engineer for the United States Department of the Army and as a Supervisor for PREPA complements a solid technical background. Ernesto holds a Master’s degree in Management of Science & Technology from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
