Hannu Husu is a Measurement Engineer at nLIGHT since December 2014, focusing on the development of measurement techniques for the characterization of optical fibers, along with the maintenance and enhancement of measurement setups. Previously, Hannu worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Metrology and Accreditation from February 2012 to December 2014, where responsibilities included project management for the EMRP project on metrology for small structures and the design and construction of a goniometric scatterometer. Prior experience includes a Researcher role at Tampere University of Technology, where investigations into the optical properties of metal nanostructures were conducted, as well as presenting findings in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, Hannu served as a Research Assistant at the same university, measuring properties of metal nanostructures and fabricating organic thin film samples. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Doctor of Science in Technology, both in physics and optics from Tampere University of Technology.
