Matthew Swindle

Matthew Swindle is an experienced leader with a diverse background in military, energy, and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Tun Tavern Legacy Foundation, Matthew has been the CEO and Founder of NLine Energy, Inc. since February 2010. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Matthew holds the rank of Colonel and has served as the Commanding Officer of the Marine Innovation Unit. Matthew also held the position of Director for the Joint Reserve Detachment at the Defense Innovation Unit from April 2018 to June 2021 and was Chair of the Small Hydro Council at the National Hydropower Association from January 2018 to December 2019. Prior roles include Federal/Military Campaign Manager and Regional Sales Manager at EnerNOC from February 2007 to January 2010. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in National Strategy and Security Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/English from West Virginia University.
