Dickson Lwetoijera serves as a Principal Research Scientist at Ifakara Health Institute since November 2007, focusing on malaria vector control research and training activities. In addition, Dickson holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) since September 2019, teaching at the School of Life Sciences and Bio-engineering. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in International Health Management from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (2015-2020), a Doctor of Philosophy in Health and Life Sciences from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (2011-2016), a Master of Science in Applied Zoology from the University of Dar es Salaam (2009-2011), and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Laboratory Sciences from Chuo Kikuu Cha Sokoine Cha Kilimo (2004-2007).
