KATUNDU

Nathanael Chezali Katundu is an accomplished academic and project manager with a strong background in mathematics and education. Katundu served as an Assistant Lecturer at Sella Maris Mtwara University College from November 2020 to October 2022, and currently holds a similar position at the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology in the School of Computational and Communication Science and Engineering. Katundu also has experience as a Mathematics Teacher at Cagliero Girls' Secondary School, where collaboration with senior academic staff was essential in organizing academic activities. In addition, Katundu co-founded the Spring of Health and Environmental Management Organisation (SHEMO) and has pursued advanced studies, achieving a Master's degree in Mathematical Sciences with a focus on Climate Resilience from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences with Distinction, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Sussex.
