Juma Kimori has extensive experience in the financial and auditing sector. Juma began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, they joined African Banking Corporation (BancABC) as the Head of Internal Audit, a position they held until 2011. Juma then joined Barclays Bank Tanzania as the Chief Internal Auditor from 2011 to 2018. During this time, they also served as a Regional Director at Barclays Bank Internal Audit from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, Juma became a Board Member at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Tanzania, a role they held until 2019. Juma then became the Vice President/Deputy Board Chair at The Institute of Internal Auditors Tanzania from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, Juma joined NMB Bank Plc as the Chief Internal Auditor and later assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2021, which they currently hold.
Juma Kimori has completed an Associate Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) degree in Accounting from NBAA Tanzania. Juma has also pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM).
