Ashleigh Thomas

Ashleigh Thomas has extensive experience in educational program management and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Program Success and Vice President of Business Operations at the National Math and Science Initiative since September 2017. Previous roles at the same organization include Senior Director of Business Operations and Director of Program Delivery & Operations. Prior to this, Ashleigh Thomas worked in various capacities within the Dallas Independent School District from June 2014 to September 2017, including Operations Manager for the Compass Alternative Certification and Distinguished Teacher Review Coordinator for the Teacher Excellence Initiative. Ashleigh Thomas began a career in education as a 4th Grade Teacher and Coordinator in multiple programs at Houston ISD from August 2010 to May 2014, and also served as Business Manager at Jason West & Associates. Ashleigh Thomas holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Sam Houston State University and a BBA in Management from the University of Texas at Tyler.
