Luke Barnes

Luke Barnes has extensive experience in operations and customs within the shipping industry. Currently working at NMT Shipping since May 2021, Luke specializes in the global transportation of self-propelled and rolling cargo, including heavy machinery and oversized items. Prior to this role, Luke was with Forwarding Direct Limited from February 2019 to April 2021, where responsibilities included managing LCL and FCL seafreight imports and coordinating deliveries across New Zealand. Earlier experience includes a position as a merchandiser at Good George Brewing from January 2018 to February 2019. Luke's educational background includes studies at Howick College from 2013 to 2017.
