Samira Kousedghi

Samira Kousedghi currently serves as a Member of The Supervisory Board at Leids Universiteits Fonds, contributing to funding groundbreaking research and supporting talented students at Leiden University since September 2023. With extensive legal experience, Samira has been a Senior Legal Counsel at NN Group since June 2017, specializing in corporate and regulatory affairs, and previously held the position of Group Legal Counsel at Delta Lloyd from January 2016 to October 2019, advising on corporate governance and M&A transactions. Earlier roles include Associate Attorney at De Metz Advocaten N.V., focusing on national and international M&A transactions, and Attorney at Law at DVDW Advocaten, where M&A and restructuring legal issues were addressed. Samira began legal career at BKR as a Board Assistant Secretary, supporting board activities and advising on complex legal matters. In academia, Samira has taught Dutch Corporate Law as a Ph.D. fellow at Leiden University and holds a Master's degree in Law from the same institution, alongside certifications in Corporate Law from Grotius Academy and the Netherlands Bar Association.
