Rupesh Srivastava is a Senior Research Scientist at NNAISENSE, where responsibilities include leading and managing projects in supervised deep learning, generative modeling, reinforcement learning, and evolutionary algorithms since June 2018. Notable contributions include the development of the concept of Upside-Down Reinforcement Learning. Previously, Rupesh completed a research internship at Microsoft in 2014, co-developing an automatic image captioning system that achieved first place in the COCO Image Captioning Challenge in 2015. Rupesh earned a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from The Swiss AI Lab IDSIA, completing the degree in February 2018.
