Vivek Shah

Vivek Shah has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Vivek is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at NoCodeOps since November 2022.

Prior to that, Vivek worked at Matter from June 2021 to October 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Matter, they were responsible for managing and developing the backend systems and infrastructure for the Matter web app and slack bot app. Vivek also worked on developing and scaling Matterbot, a slack bot that catered to over 100,000 slack users participating in Feedback Friday. Additionally, Vivek designed and implemented Matter Rewards, a feature that allowed users to add Matter coins to kudos and redeem gift cards with them.

Before joining Matter, Vivek worked as a Backend Engineer at LogDNA from August 2019 to May 2021. At LogDNA, they managed the backend data pipeline, distributed log queue, and data parsing systems.

Vivek gained valuable experience as a Software Developer Engineer Intern at Mitchell International in 2019, where they worked from May to August.

In 2018, Vivek worked as a Full Stack Software Developer Intern at R9 Technology. During their internship, they played a key role in architecting and developing the next-generation IoT platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Vivek also set up the project infrastructure for continuous development and different SDLC environments and was responsible for database configuration, provision, schema design, and model creation.

Vivek began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Infosys in 2014. During their time at Infosys, they worked on various roles related to Internet of Things (IoT). Vivek gathered client requirements, analyzed them for the relevant technology stack, and designed data flow architectures. Vivek also developed algorithms using QGIS for processing drone images. Vivek also gained expertise in MVC frameworks, RESTful APIs, and IoT sensors and communication protocols.

Lastly, Vivek had an intern role as a Wireless Network Engineer at PervCom Consulting (P) Ltd. in 2012, where they created presentations and training modules for wireless networking kits.

Overall, Vivek Shah possesses a strong skill set in software engineering, backend development, IoT, and project management, contributing to their wide-ranging work experience in multiple companies and roles.

Vivek Shah completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Management from 2010 to 2014. Vivek then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Vivek has obtained various certifications, including the IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer in January 2018, IBM Blockchain Essentials in October 2017, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from the University of Michigan in September 2017, and the IBM Certified Application Developer - Cloud Platform V1 in February 2016.
