Andrés Martínez

Andrés Martínez, PhD, is a Senior Robotics and Controls Engineer at Noah Medical since August 2020, previously serving as a Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where innovative designs of haptic robotic manipulators were developed. At Vanderbilt University, as a Graduate Researcher, significant contributions were made to lower-limb robotic exoskeletons, including a 32% increase in knee flexion for individuals with disabilities and the submission of a patent application for an FDA-approved exoskeleton. Andrés also excelled in their roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing over 80 students in system dynamics and mechatronics, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Kansas State University, where investigations into vapor heat transfer were conducted.
