John Shen

John Shen has a diverse work experience in the medical device industry. John is currently the VP of Engineering at Noah Medical, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director of Electrical Engineering & Vision at Noah Medical from March 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Noah Medical, John worked at Stryker Endoscopy for over a decade. Their roles at Stryker Endoscopy included Director of Cross-Specialty Visualization R&D from April 2016 to March 2021, Senior R&D Manager from June 2013 to April 2016, Project Manager from March 2012 to June 2013, Staff Engineer from April 2010 to March 2012, Senior Design Engineer from October 2008 to April 2010, and Design Engineer from March 2007 to September 2008. At Stryker Endoscopy, John led and managed various teams, developed innovative medical devices, and created platforms for advanced visualization solutions for minimally invasive surgery. John was instrumental in launching groundbreaking products in the industry, including the world's first 4K fluorescence visualization system.

John Shen earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, where they also obtained a B.S. in the same field of study. John studied at Northwestern University from 1998 to 2007.
