Pontus Lindqvist

Pontus Lindqvist has a diverse work experience in the fields of IT, photography, and biobanking. Pontus currently serves as the CIO at Nobina Europe AB, a major public transport operator in the Nordic region. Prior to this, Pontus held the role of CIO at Menigo Foodservice AB and was responsible for driving business results through the use of new technology. Pontus also served as the Head of CIO Office at Preem AB, where they incorporated digitalization into the corporate business strategy and implemented various improvements within the IT department. Pontus has also worked as a senior strategy consultant at IBM, focusing on enterprise architecture and long-term IT strategy. Additionally, they have experience as a deputy director and IT manager at Karolinska Institutet Biobank, where they led the informatics development and governance processes. Pontus started their career as a system developer at both St Jude Medical and Spray Networks.

Pontus Lindqvist completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science at Karolinska Institutet from 1995 to 2000. Pontus then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, from 1999 to 2002.
