Vahid Shamekhi

Vahid Shamekhi has an extensive work experience. Vahid started their career in 2018 as a Board Member and Business Development Manager at Stars Wealth Management (Venture Capital). In 2019, they became a Strategic Management DBA Lecturer at University of Tehran. In 2020, they joined ILIA Corporation as a Partner and Board Member, eFarda Company as the Chief Innovation Officer, and Finnova as an Investment Committee Member. Vahid also became an Angel Investor at Jaan | جان in the same year. In 2021, they were appointed as the VP of Development and Innovation at Tara. Currently, they are the VP of Business Development at Nobitex and a Board Member at Iran FinTech Association.

Vahid Shamekhi began their education in 2003 when they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Vahid continued their studies at the same university, graduating in 2010 with a Master of Science (MSc) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Applied Introductory to the Art and Science of Futures Studies from the World Futures Studies Federation. In 2018 they began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Science and Technology Policymaking/ Management at Tarbiat Modares University, which they are currently pursuing.
