Edem Ene

Edem Ene has extensive experience in marine engineering, currently serving as a 3rd Engineer on the Q7000 semi-submersible at Helix Energy Solutions Group since August 2022, focusing on power generation and maintenance of engine systems. Edem has held previous positions in various companies, including Fred. Olsen Marine Services and Bourbon Offshore, where responsibilities included independent watch-keeping, engine room maintenance, and technical services for a range of vessels. Edem's educational background includes a Higher National Diploma in Marine Engineering from the Maritime Academy of Nigeria and qualifications in naval architecture and marine engineering. Additional training in dynamic positioning was completed at the Aquanaut Dynamic Position Center in Mumbai.
